1980 Statement of David Koch as Libertarian Party VP Candidate

In these prepared remarks for a statement by David Koch in Kentucky, the Vice President of Koch Industries describes why he is running to be Vice President of the United States.

He gave these remarks in response to President Jimmy Carter, who was then running for re-election.

In this statement, Koch opposes the federal government’s efforts to bailout Chrysler and also to aid New York City, which was facing a financial crisis in the late 1970s.
